| Information Officer - Festival of Lights Would you like to work as an Information Officer/Host/Hostess in the Canada Pavilion at the Atlantic Superstore Festival of Lights this June 26 to July 1? University or college students are ideal candidates. As the successful candidate, your communications and presentation style are versatile, allowing you to interact with a variety of people. Exceptional problem solving skills fuel your ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments, situations and people. You thrive in a team environment, but are also comfortable taking initiative. Bilingualism is essential, with a working knowledge of both the English and French languages. A background in communications, marketing, public relations, or history is ideal. Exceptional dress and deportment are required. As a shift in the display can run for up to 12 consecutive hours, applicants should be in excellent physical condition. The role of Information Officer includes representing the National Capital Commission, so a history of travel to Ottawa and the National Capital Region is a definite asset. | |
