We host birthdays, corporate groups, sports teams, schools, etc. Position: Laser Quest is in search of a General Manager Location: Toronto East, ON Job Description: Are you tired of working 60+ hours per week? You are accountable for creating a high energy, positive working environment, and are committed to exceeding Customer expectations. Job Responsibilities Include: • Implement comprehensive local marketing programs and in-house promotions • Cost Control • Interview prospective employees using behavioural-based interviewing techniques • Develop team members using established in-house training programs and materials • Build team commitment to high standards of service, exceeding Customer expectations and leading by example to deliver the WOW • Manage employee performance through motivation, performance appraisals and coaching • Communicate and monitor adherence to health and safety legislation • Ensure equipment is maintained to company standards Job Requirements: The ideal candidate is high energy, outgoing, has strong coaching and leadership skills, and thrives on taking a leading role in building a world class Laser Quest location. • Minimum 3 – 5 years management in restaurant, retail, service or entertainment industry • College or university degree (or equivalent work experience) • Community involvement • Exceptional customer service • Basic computer skills • Able to work days, nights and weekends Benefits: • Competitive base salary • “Top Line” monthly bonus, plus a long service bonus • Three weeks paid vacation • RRSP Program with company match • Confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • Medical, dental and vision, STD & LTD, life Insurance, and AD&D • Formal training programs • 5 day work week We are an equal opportunity employer.
