C++ / JAVA Developer

Bevertec CST Inc. is a leading developer of electronic payment systems and transaction processing solutions, with a focus on the financial services industry. Bevertec provides real-time, end-to-end, e-banking solutions that include transaction switching, debit and credit card issuing, smart card solutions, automated teller machine and point-of-sale network management solutions.

The successful candidate will be part of the payment solutions group responsible from the development, maintenance and support of the Comprehensive Card Solution (CCS) product.
CCS manages all aspects of debit and credit card issuing including application, life cycle, credit scoring, dispute resolution and settlement with credit card networks such as Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

Major Responsibility Areas:

Technical capabilities:

 3+ years of solid C/C++ coding experience.
 3+ years of solid Java coding experience.
 Experience in Java RMI
 Some experience in J2EE (message queues, web services) and JBOSS.
 Ability to work with existing code for problem resolution and enhancements.
 Ability to design and implement new components.
 Ability to create basic user and how-to documents.

Technical Environment:
 Linux / Unix

Data Base:
 Oracle 9i , 10g

Customer service functions:
 Respond to customer requests for problem resolution.
 On-site product installation and support.
 Ability to travel internationally.

Business Environment:
 Payment systems knowledge

 Excellent Communication Skills is a must.
