| Service Advisor Position Profile: This is a challenging role, requiring a great deal of motivation and initiative offering you the opportunity to build a rewarding career with a leading transportation company. Our Service Advisor ensures that the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded and prioritized within the maintenance system to meet maintenance safety, operational and driver needs. You will take a pro-active role in relationship development and problem resolution as you assess needs and demands of drivers, mechanics and outside vendors. Our Service Advisor is also responsible for monitoring and scheduling of all preventable maintenance within established guidelines. This position may require a degree of flexibility regarding hours of work. Candidate Profile: You are a leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills wanting to have a direct impact on the continued growth and success of the company. You thrive in and are looking for a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. You will utilize your strong communication and interpersonal skills to develop and strengthen relationships. Demonstrated problem solving and planning abilities will be key to your success in this position. Your previous experience in a service or related environment is considered an asset to this position. | |
