The Opportunity:
Our business is growing and we are looking for an energetic full-time Production Manager to join our team. Reporting to the General Manager of Duns Paining, the Production Manager will play a key role in the continued success of the business through effectively managing all areas of daily operations for Duns Painting.

Responsibilities:
- Scheduling work crews and equipment for client projects
- Coordination of purchasing (painting materials & equipment) with General Manager
- Building and maintaining relationships with employees, customers and suppliers
- Recruiting, training and developing employees
- Conducting employee evaluations
- Conducting onsite visits and final walk-throughs, maintaining quality standards
- Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times, by all employees
- Promoting business to potential clients
- Overseeing crew work hours and payroll, in coordination with the General Manager
- Ongoing communication with General Manager and work crews
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager

Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years previous management and/or project management experience required, preferably within the trades industry
- Proven dedication to providing outstanding customer service and quality work
- Strong organizational skills; Able to manage priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Strong problem-solving & decision-making skills; Works well under pressure
- Leadership skills; Able to inspire and motivate others to achieve goals
- Team builder and team player; Willing to work beside the team (if required) to get the job done

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous professional painting experience, an asset
- Previous sales experience in the trades industry, an asset
- Occupational Health & Safety training and/or certification
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
