Translation Project Manager/Coordinator

ANTHEA Languages Canada Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Anthea Languages sarl of Sophia-Antipolis, France, a leading provider of multilingual translation and publishing services is looking for a bilingual project manager.

The main responsibilities include:
1) Co-ordinating the translation projects and assignment of translators in various languages
2) Providing quotes and estimates
3) Provide timely and accurate English to French translations when necessary.
4) Manage projects from beginning to end including budget, negotiating with freelance translators and proofreaders, ensure deadlines are met or exceeded and signing off on completed project.
5) Proofread final product and at various stages of process to ensure quality and accuracy
6) Implement current, and create new, quality assurance measures

Qualifications:
1) Minimum of 3+ years experience in translation;
2) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3) Knowledge of Trados and/or other CAT tools will be an asset
4) Experience in translating for the Translation Bureau will be an asset
5) Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
6) University degree in translation
