CONTROLLER

Reporting to the President, you will be responsible for supporting the development of corporate global expansion strategies as well as for the overall financial plans and accounting practices of the organization, including all strategic and tactical matters as they relate to budget management, cost benefit analysis, forecasting needs and the securing of new revenue sources.
The ideal Controller candidate will possess most or all of the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business along with a post graduation degree and/or professional accounting designation (CGA/CMA).
• Preferably 5+ years of experience with an industrial or manufacturing background, in a medium to large corporate setting
• Excellent understanding of business planning processes, optimizing costs, tax implications, forecasting, budgeting and capital appropriation
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels and functional areas, internally and externally
