Accounting Controller Duties ·
Responsible For Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations And All Other Journal Entries To Ensure Accuracy And Compliance ·
Use And Understanding Of Accounting Software MMS Master Merchant Systems An Asset ·
Familiarity With Commissions. ·
Manage Payroll System Using Payroll Software ·
Facilitate Company Benefits Plan.
· Preparing Government Documents For Numerous Provincial And Federal Authorities, Includes GST, PST Filling As Required
· Interface With Tax Authorities And External Resources
· Establish And Maintain Appropriate Internal Controls
· Manage Corporate Insurance – General, Liability, Errors & Omissions, Directors & Officers, Etc.
· Perform Monthly, Quarterly, And Yearly Analysis Of Financial Statement
· Assist With Budget Preparation
· Prepare Year End Financials For Accountant.

· Minimum 5 Years Experience Full Cycle Accounting Functions Including Consolidated Financial Statement Preparation As Well As G/L, A/R, A/P.
· Bilingualism An Asset
· Familiarity With Ontario And Quebec Laws And Procedures Is A Strong Asset
You Will Posses Excellent Communication And Analytical Skills With A Genuine Desire To Assist Customers And Motivate Staff. You Genuinely Enjoy Working With People And Excel At Public Relations, With Excellent Trouble Shooting And Problem Solving Skills. You Must Also Be Able To Effectively Diffuse Challenging Situations By Demonstrating Excellent Listening, Negotiation And Oral Communication Skills. Advanced Organizational Skills, Strong Written Communication Skills, With An Ability To Work On Multiple Tasks And The Ability To Work Under Pressure And Maintain Composure In Stressful Situations Are A Must. You Are Also Able To Plan Effectively And Carry Out Work Independently When Required.

Education And Experience: College Diploma In Accounting, Or Equivalent Minimum 5 Years Of Related Experience

Salary Will Be Based Upon Your Experience And Qualifications
