Weld Tech / Quality Assurance (Welding) Experience/Skills required: Must have at least 5 years experience with strong leadership skills and good communication skills (must be able to read, write, and speak English well). Must have good organizational skills and must have a metal fabrication background with the ability to read blueprints. Must be skilled in aluminum welding (knowledge of different welding processes). Must also be skilled in the operation of ESAB welding equipment and the programming of their machines (i.e. pulse, arc, mig & tig). Duties: Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing, the successful candidate will be responsible for: maintaining and improving the existing quality program, hiring & training of new employees, and will also have direct involvement with inspection and final buy-off of the product. Industry: Privately-owned (non-unionized) manufacturer of Custom Tank Trucks & Special Equipment. Salary range: $27 to $30 per hour (depending on experience) + benefits + paid overtime.
