| Production Test Engineer Job Description: Production Test Engineer REPORTING TO: Manager Production Test Engineering Key Responsibilities: • Assume primary ownership for product test solutions by Initial Product Release gate(IPR), ensuring: • unrestricted product rampup and delivery of product matching MPS requirements • execution of “cost down” targets and requirements • we meet or exceed customer’s quality expectations • prompt response to production test issues • prompt support for any CR’s (customer returns) such as improving test coverage • ongoing maintenance of test documentation • reliable acquisition and upload of product test data into internal databases • Drive continuous improvement in our test manufacturing by effective execution of 8D analysis, SPC in test processes, cycle time reduction, etc • Liaison with various internal and external staff to ensure security of supply (eg. Production planners, product, design and test engineers, QA/FA personnel) • Support technical inquiries from the company’s NPI teams and provide input into new product DFM • Maintain and share awareness of industry trends in IC test field Qualifications and Experience Required: • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience • Working knowledge of modern IC ATE systems (eg. Teradyne FLEX/Catalyst, LTX Fusion, Agilent 93K) • Working knowledge of DFT methodologies and techniques • Experience in wafer sort and final test operations including interfacing to device handling equipment • Software programming skills in high level languages • Ability to design and debug analog and digital interfacing circuits. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to manage and foster technical and operational relationships with internal and external suppliers • Strong problem solving and data analysis skills • Ability to multi-task on projects • High attention to details • Strong interest in semiconductor field and passion for IC testing • Organized multi-tasker with strong documentation skills • Willingness and ability to travel both within North America and overseas How to Apply for this Role: We are seeking expertise with ONLY these qualified skills.
