Senior Academic Officer (Medical Transcriptionist Trainer) General: Our client is looking for a Senior Academic Officer (Medical Transcriptionist Trainer) to work in their offices in Lake Country, Kelowna, BC. The candidate must be a fully qualified Medical Transcription Specialist with 2 – 5 years of work experience. Teaching and/or educational administrative experience in this field would also be an asset. You must possess excellent management skills. You are a consummate professional who works well with others and is compassionate about your students’ success. You can successfully lead a team of individuals to achieve all goals while creating an inviting working environment. You are computer literate and have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and database management. Skills/Experience/Qualifications: * Management experience * A minimum of 2 years experience as a Medical Transcriptionist * A minimum of 2 years teaching experience * Outstanding customer service and communications skills * A team players who can also work independently * Proficient in Microsoft applications and data base software * Direct supervisory skills * Someone with a take-charge, get the job done attitude while instilling fun and humour in the workplace Our client offers a great working environment with competitive wages, benefits, bonuses, travel opportunities and profit sharing.
