| General Accountant - $55,000 to $70,000 COMPANY PROFILE: Located in Mississauga/Toronto (by the airport), we manufacture and distribute quality, value priced consumer electronic products. The company has been in the distribution business for over 25 years. We offer a broad range of the latest technology in affordable home electronic products including DVD systems, portable and home stereos, telephones, portable televisions, and MP3 players. We also distribute home appliances such as compact fridges, microwaves and water coolers. We are headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with distribution facilities across North America and Europe. BENEFITS: •Salary: $55,000 to $70,000 •Benefits include Dental, Medical and life coverage RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to: •Bank reconciliations •Sub ledger reconciliations •Prepare financial statements •Cash application for AR •Coop analysis •Work with AP, make sure processes are being followed REQUIREMENTS: •Education: CGA, CMA, Accounting degree •Have a proactive approach •Be assertive •Hard worker •Company has high expectations from all employees •Must be able to handle a very heavy work load •High stress position •Great Plaines Accounting software, an asset •Advanced Excel is a must. Working with Pivot tables, Logic using statements, etc. •Must have reliable transportation, driver’s license •Must be able to provide 2 supervisory references | |
