| Sales Engineer/Area Manager Project #: 1003 Job Title: Sales Engineer/Area Manager Industry: Mining Manufacturing Salary Range: 60-80K Base + Bonus, Car, Benefits, Pension Location: Kamloops, BC Recruiter: Henry Goldbeck Company Profile Our Client is a multinational manufacturer of world class mining equipment, providing customized solutions to wear and tear in the mining, material handling and mineral processing industries. They have operations around the world, including Australia, USA, Canada, Sweden, Ghana, South Africa, Zambia, Brazil and South East Asia. Responsibilities Reporting to the Country Manager, this position will be responsible for overseeing satisfaction of customers within Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territory. Achieve agreed sales forecasts and other goals for sales territory Develop and grow new and existing accounts Back up sales with quality product service Provide on-site technical and applications assistance to customers Qualifications Bachelors degree and/or proven experience in the Mining industry Knowledge of West Coast mining market and understanding of grinding and processing technology Superior sales and presentation skills or demonstrable sales aptitude. Significant knowledge base as a result of experience selling to or working in the mining or mineral processing industries. The willingness and ability to take advantage of a career opportunity that offers the opportunity to take on larger responsibilities as the territory grows combined with substantial support and training including international training and benchmarking at leading foreign operations. The position will be home based out of Kamloops, British Columbia and requires significant air and road travel. Compensation will be via a competitive base salary, bonus program, benefits, pension plan, company vehicle and expenses etc. | |
