| Assistant Controller - Global, family owned business Our client on the Surrey Langley border is a large, global family owned manufacturing business. Having doubled its sales over the last four years and with 500 staff world-wide a new position has been created for an ambitious Assistant Controller. Reporting directly to the Controller and managing two direct reports your principal responsibilities will include: • The preparation of monthly financial statement for a variety of Group companies. • Performance and profitability analysis against budgets and other financial information. • Business planning including budgeting, forecasting and cash management. • Overseeing the inventory, accounts receivable, payroll and accounts payable processes. The organization operates in an honest, warm and committed environment. Family values are placed high on the agenda and a good work/life balance is actively encouraged. Staff are well looked after and the successful applicant should quickly expect to become the Controller's 'right hand person'. Remuneration: $55,000 - $65,000 + Bonus + Benefits Requirements: • Recently designated CGA/CMA or at least a level 4 student. • Committed, responsible, well organized and reliable individual. • Honest and straightforward approach to building relationships. • Great interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a diverse group of people. • 2-5 years of accounting experience preferably gained in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
