| Senior Firmware Engineer Senior Firmware Engineer Penticton BC General: An exciting opportunity for a very strong firmware developer/engineer, with great C/C++/assembly language programming skills and leadership skills, to help to support the client's companies, all based in the sunny south Okanagan, in a variety of projects using micro controllers for the development of sophisticated systems. Responsibilties: * Design, debug and implement software for embedded systems; * Liaise with clients to understand business needs; * Manage systems integration as necessary; * Coach and provide knowledge transfer for more junior firmware engineers in the team. Skills/Experience: The ideal candidate will : * have at least 5 years experience in designing, debugging and implementing software including operating systems drivers and firmware for embedded systems; * have strong C/C++/Assembly language programming skills; * have leadership skills and at least 2 years experience as a team leader in a firmware development environment; * have proven coaching/training skills in a technical environment; * have superior communication and analysis skills; * have excellent interpersonal and English language skills. Education/Qualifications: * Bachelor degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a Technology graduate with equivalent combination of experience and education. | |
