| Senior Structural Engineer / Team Lead You will need to : Have your P.Eng. within Canada and be currently located in Canada. 8 - 10 years experience in building design including wood, steel, concrete and masonry structures. At least 5 years working in a senior role. Experience managing a department Provide technical support to the structural team To be hands on and willing to assist with designs when needed. Carry out individual staff reviews on a quarterly basis Ensure that codes and standards are being met. Run weekly meetings with teams and provide reports and feedback to other department heads. Carry out business development within the Alberta market ( knowledge of the market essential) Be the 1st point of contact for clients. Participate in long and short-term strategic planning sessions. Be able to teach and mentor new engineers You will be working with a firm who has over 150 employees based in 5 branches across Canada they are rapidly growing and can offer a lively, supportive and progressive place to work.
