| Catering Supervisor TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES: •Ensuring all orders are delivered and picked up at the time requested by the client •Ensuring that all catering orders are complete (food, equipment, linen, function sheet) prior to the driver leaving the building •Communicating with the driver as to the specifics of each function: delivery location, parking, elevators, trolley delivery, “Special Instructions” •Ensure the proper distribution of food through time, temperature as well as health and safety control systems •Supervise the catering drivers in the delivery, setup and pick-up of catering orders throughout the campus •Assist in the lay up and preparation of tables/service points for the service of meals •Ensure that all orders are pick-ed up at the appropriate time and that all items are accounted for •Ensure adequate supply of food/material goods/equipment required according the fluctuations of demand •Assist the Catering Coordinator in the daily processing and distribution of the catering schedule •Familiarize with the menu, including pronunciation, preparation, ingredients and garniture •Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of the surrounding work area, as well as in the areas where deliveries are to be made •Ensuring all catering service standards are maintained •Works cooperatively with others and accepts direction from the Catering Coordinator •Perform any other duties as assigned by the Catering Coordinator/Manager Requirements: •Excellent customer service skills. •Strong leadership and organizational skills. •Ability to multi task. •Valid driver’s license. | |
