| Web Programmer Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day Salary: To be negotiated Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible Location: Sudbury and Area, Ontario (1 vacancy) Skill Requirements Education: Completion of college / CEGEP / vocational / technical training or completion of university. Experience: Experience with web development is required for this position. Please reference any workplace experience with XML, Visual Basic (.net) and ASP (.net) as part of your cover letter for this job. Languages: Speak, read and write English. Specific Skills : • Write, modify, integrate, test (new) and maintain (existing) software code. • Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software. • Assist in the collection and documentation of user''s requirements. • Assist in the development of logical and physical specifications. Programming Languages: ASP (.net), XML Technology (XSL, XSD, DTD), Object-Oriented programming languages, Visual Basic (.net), SQL Essential Skills: Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, oral communication, working with others, problem solving, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing, significant use of memory, finding information, continuous learning, attention to details. Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Open office environment, sitting, typing. | |
