Smartplant Materials Specialist (MY CJ)

The Administrator responsibilities includes the following:
- Assign user roles and privileges
- Create and manage SPRD projects, commodity rules, groups and parts
- Create commodity codes and idents
- Specification and report creation
- Requires Oracle database and Interface knowledge

The User role will:
- Develop inside Smartplant materials commodity coding structure
- Develop detailed piping material descriptions to support purchasing
- Maintain piping materials catalogue inside Smartplant Materials
- Check and maintain piping component dimensional data.
- Maintain change control system for piping material codes and descriptions
- Prepare materials library to support PDS/PDMS/SP3D design tools
- Control material quantities from Prelim MTO to final BOM
- Generate Material requisitions
- Monitor actual purchased quantities
- Develop Piping specialty item descriptions
- Co-ordinate specialty item final dimensional data.
- Perform TBE's and review/approve substitutions
- Work directly with Smartplant Materials Administrator for project implementation

Qualifications:

- A diploma or degree in piping or mechanical engineering
- Training in the RDB/cats and specs/Marian area
- Software training qualifications ie: Intergraph, in-house
