Project Controls Manager (MY CJ)

The Project Controls Manager’s primary responsibility is to establish and manage the project controls functions, systems and procedures to ensure the definition of schedules and budgets and analyzes trends and forecasts for effective project management.

This role requires the candidate to have a thorough knowledge of the competencies related to Project Controls Analysis.

The successful candidate will provide support to the Mineable Energy Group in implementing and establishing the following project management and controls activities:

•Implement project controls procedures and standards
•Ensure quality of project controls deliverables
•Capture lessons learned, as-engineered and as-built models for libraries
•Establish Risk Management system
•Establish Channels of communication and Interface Management
•Establish Change Management system
•Establish Risk Management systems


The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

•Experience and knowledge in Estimating, Cost Control, Planning, and Risk Management
•10 years experience in Project Controls, 2+ years in project control management role
• Experience working in an EPC environment within the oil and gas industry is essential
•Oil Sands experience, although not essential, would be an asset
