Outside Medical Sales Representative

Our client, a leading, international manufacturer of diagnostic reagents and other medical equipment, is looking for an Outside Medical Sales Consultant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales and business development, while maintaining existing business. This individual will be selling and promoting company products directly into hospitals and private laboratories.


Compensation:

* Salary + Bonus
* Benefits
* Car allowance


Education:

* B.Sc Degree, specialization in Biology or Chemistry


Work experience:

* Laboratory sales experience of 3-5 years would be an asset
* Hands-on laboratory experience and knowledge an asset
* Clinical background with experience selling into the long term care, CCAC (Community Care Access Centres) and hospital markets would be a strong asset

Related Skills:

* Strong laboratory knowledge would be an asset
* Excellent communication and people skills
* Professional demeanor
* Problem solving skills


Additional Notes:

* 30 - 40% travel required within territory
* International travel required annually
