Pre-Board Screening Officer

GARDA is hiring Pre-Board Screening Officers for the Edmonton International Airport.

Requirements:
• Must be 18 years of age or older, Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrant (minimum of 5 years residency);
• High School Graduate (GED accepted);
• Customer Service Oriented;
• Ability to work under pressure;
• Ability to work with the public;
• Own transportation;
• Shift work is a requirement;
• Positive attitude, Self motivated, reliable and have a good work ethic;
• Ability to work within a structured environment;
• Excellent communication skills (fluent written and oral English); French is an asset;
• Medical Exam is required);


Uniform, benefits after 90 days, training and free parking provided.
Wage rate : $12.94/hour (L1 Officer) to $14.93/hour (L3 officer).
Effective, April 1st, 2008 – wage increase of $0.75/hour
Increases with certifications according to Union agreement.
