| Stationary Engineer 2nd barry blostein sympatico.ca executive search 905-763-0728 STATIONARY ENGINEER – OPERATOR, SECOND CLASS Reporting to the Chief Power Engineer, the Operator Second Class maintains all equipment related to the Powerhouse including monitoring and maintenance of the mill fire system, Powerhouse pumps, compressors and piping. When relieving as Shift Engineer the successful candidate will operate automated and computerized control system, stationary engines and auxiliary equipment boilers, mill fire systems, auxiliary generator and compressors to provide heat, ventilation, light and power to the manufacturing facility. The power plant has a total capacity of 1 700 therm-hours. The successful applicant must possess a Second Class Stationary Engineer’s certificate plus a minimum of two years operating experience, preferably in an industrial setting. The incumbent must be able to work in a team based environment and demonstrate the ability to work under production, time and cost constraints. We offer competitive compensation ($29.48 per hour) and benefit package.
