SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must have completed grade 10 or have equivalent job experience in the related areas: warehouse, customer service, etc.
· Must hold a valid driver’s licence/permit
· Ability to speak Inuktitut considered an asset
· Must be familiar with handling of dangerous goods and be able to obtain and retain a dangerous goods handling certificate
· Proven customer service skills
· Must be able to obtain and retain an Airside Vehicle Operators Permit (AVOP)
· Ability to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identity Card in accordance with the Airport Restricted Area Access Clearance Program regulated by Transport Canada

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Shift work including holidays and weekends
· Responsibly use and maintain company equipment to assist in the off/on load of aircraft
· Comply with company and MOT standards and regulations
· Assist in the loading and departure of aircraft as well as arrival and unloading of aircraft
· Assist with the process of check-in passengers and baggage
· Maintain inventory of customer goods inbound and outbound
· Cleaning of aircraft
· Provide excellent customer service
· Other duties as assigned
