Major accountability

Provide leadership for the Integrated Cable/Wireless team of

materials and inventory management professionals ensuring they are

focused on the respective OPCO's organizational goals and objectives,

and on the success of the people reporting to this role with a clear

objective of meeting our cross OPCO channel demand requirements whilst

optimizing costs



Accountabilities/Deliverables

Product requirements planning to meet engineering builds, maintenance

requirements and sales channel demands

Inventory & Materials Management, all OPCO's

Replenishment strategy & Expediting (Cable, Wireless consumer for 857 YM

and Wireless GI)

Directing Materials/Equipment allocation (Cable)

What if analysis for optimizing the supply chain

Management of Vendor compliance

Product management interface

Excess/Obsolete inventory management

Equipment Supplier Management

Surplus equipment Disposal

Perform Liaison for Cable/Wireless GI/Internal CSAT

Performance Management of the team under their leadership



Experience/profile info



Must have an extensive background in purchasing, inventory management,

and Supply Chain with a minimum of 10 years experience at the management

level



A comprehensive knowledge of integrated logistics and supply chain

issues are key to the success of this role Typically an incumbent would

have a proven record of working successfully in bringing best practices

and optimization of the supply chain, looking at the supply chain as an

end to end process.



This role is one of operating in an integrated supply chain environment

that will cover 3 OPCO's and multiple disciplines of the Logistics and

Supply Chain world, encompassing but not limited to vendor management,

purchasing, order management, kitting, qualifying service providers,

inventory management, import/export, transportation negotiations, and

CSAT



This position would have 4 management positions reporting to it, with

responsibility for directing the management in Atlantic Canada on

matters relating to Inventory management and SIOP.

The 4 functional management team would be Inventory & Materials

Management, Asset recovery and refurbishment, Inventory and transaction

control and forecasting and planning





Prepares strategic purchasing and inventory plans to present to senior

management both in written and presentation format.

Frequently negotiates pricing and equipment availability issues with

suppliers

Required to motivate direct and indirect team members in their pursuit

of the Supply Chain goals and objectives

Develop and communicate policies and procedures that impact the

efficiency of the Supply Chain group as well as compliance to regulatory

requirements i.e. SOX, import and duties
