Junior Project Engineer • Prepares cost analyses and project cost controls • Manages tendering and estimating • Prepares and reviews budgets • Attends meetings with the client • Coordinates monthly billings • Schedules project staff and equipment resources • Reviews and negotiates change orders • Provides code interpretation and ensures regulatory compliance • Reviews drawings and coordinates specifications • Applies standard engineering and scientific techniques, procedures and principles, as well as makes minor adaptations and modifications • Occasional travel to conduct field measurements and design confirmation • B.Sc. (Engineering) with specialization in mechanical, petroleum or chemical engineering • APEGGA registration or eligibility for Professional Engineer status • The ability to learn quickly and effectively • Effective communication and teamwork abilities • Superior planning and organizational skills • Results oriented • Strong on initiative and problem solving • Familiarity with computerized scheduling • Experience with AutoCAD
