| Housekeeping - Room Attendant The Sawridge Inn and Conference Centre (Peace River) is currently accepting applications for the role of Housekeeper. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Housekeeper will ensure guest comfort and satisfaction by delivering unequalled standards of service and value while maintaining efficient and profitable Housekeeping facilities. The Housekeeper will understand the true meaning of customer service excellence and possess a superior work ethic enabling him/her to be a positive and effective team leader. The successful candidate will possess some or all of the following characteristics: •Excellent communication skills both written and verbal •Excellent interpersonal skills •Strong organizational and time management skills •Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment •Physically Fit •Must be able to accommodate the needs of other departments for the betterment of The Sawridge Inn and Conference Center •Must be a team player and be able to work in a team oriented environment This role requires an energetic, hands-on, people-oriented professional to manage our housekeeping department. You must have an eye for detail and be fully versed on all Sawridge Policy and Procedures as well as Housekeeping Policy and Procedures. •Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness is achieved throughout the hotel •Perform daily quality control inspections of bedrooms, common areas and storage areas •Adhering to the property lost and found procedures •Participating in training and continual development •Performing other periodic cleaning schedules (carpet shampooing, curtains, etc) •Assist maintenance, laundry & room attendants when needed •Ensuring Sawridge standards are met throughout the department. •Liaise with the Front Desk & Maintenance in regard to readiness of rooms with particular attention to guest’s special requirements & VIP rooms as required. •Ensure corridors and staff areas are cleaned according to hotel standards •Inspect all rooms for cleanliness and maintenance issues daily Total compensation for this position is negotiable and dependent upon skills, experience, and attitude.
