Exciting payroll opportunity in a multijurisdictional environment! This full cycle payroll position will challenge your skills in a secure yet unique industry.

Reporting to the accounting manager your duties will include:

• Processing of salaried and hourly employees payroll located throughout Canada using an in-house accounting system;
• Preparing and reconciling all statutory and benefit related remittances;
• Process EFT payments and reconciliation of the transactions;
• Liaising with employees on payroll related questions;
• Process all year-end functions – T4’s and T4A’s.

You have a minimum of one years experience on an in-house payroll system in a multi-jurisdictional environment and a thorough understanding of the impact payroll journal entries have on expense items and liabilities accounts. You possess superior communication skills, are meticulous with details and have a high level of discretion. Experience with collective agreements, benefits administration and benefit entitlements would be an asset. Candidates of Aboriginal decent are encouraged to self declare.
