| Staff Accountant - Clean Energy - Great Team Our client, a producer of Clean Energy in Downtown Vancouver, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their fun energetic team! The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions into the accounting program. The ideal individual will be a detail-oriented and organized person able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Entering and paying vendor invoices for 2 companies • Invoicing to other parties for reimbursement • Bank deposits • Bank reconciliations • Manage petty cash • Preparation of payroll • Preparation of T4 slips • Preparing the GST return for all related entities • Generation and processing journal entries • Act as backup for Accounting Manager and Legal Assistant Qualifications: • Post-secondary education in accounting • Enrollment in CGA or CMA an asset • Excellent communication skills • 2 - 3 years related experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll Salary up to $50K plus benefits depending on experience!
