Seneca is expanding and is currently looking to hire a: Process Engineer As part of the Process Engineering team and reporting to the Director, Process Engineering, you will be responsible for: • designing processes; • developing preliminary and detailed engineering processes; • calculating mass and heat balances; • carrying out various calculations (pipes, pumps, hydraulics, head losses, etc.). • creating process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs); • producing flow diagrams; • evaluating piping and equipment specifications as well as choosing equipment and instruments; • Coordinating project activities and works of construction sites in partnership with the client; • performing risk studies and analyses; • drafting reports and documentation. Competencies and requirements • University diploma in mining, metals or chemical engineering; • 7 to 15 years of professional experience; • Work experience in the field of mining and/or metals; • Member of the province’s professional order of engineers; • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office; • Attention to detail, rigour and precision; • Ability to adapt and good organization skills; • Excellent team player and communicator; • Available and able to travel to client sites.
