| Piping Designers - Senior (MY CJ) The Piping Designer role will be responsible for the following areas: • Reporting to overall Piping Discipline Lead. • Production of advanced and complex design in Process and/or Utility Piping. • Drawing and Design review to control quality and accuracy. • Organization of work to meet priorities and schedule. • Design change notification. • Coordination with professional staff and other disciplines. • Support client model reviews. The successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications: • Sound Piping layout skills are integral to this position. • Five to fifteen years experience in Piping Design within the oil and gas industry in an EPC environment. • In depth knowledge and experience using 3D modelling software. • Experience extracting General Arrangements and Isometrics. • Ability to produce piping layouts/studies and plot layouts. • In depth knowledge of design, stress and materials, as related to the piping discipline. • Proficient with MS Office. Piping Lead responsibilities: •Report directly to overall project Discipline Lead. •Manage detailed piping design schedule. •Prepare design criteria. •Supervise design team and provide technical guidance. •Estimate workload and oversee Man-hour control. •Maintain design quality. •Design change control. •Coordinate with other disciplines. •Liaise with project/client. •Support client model reviews. The successful candidates will possess the following skills and qualifications: •Sound Piping layout skills are integral to this position. •A minimum of 15 years experience in Piping Design within the oil and gas industry in an EPC environment. •Ability to provide input to piping layouts/studies and plot layouts. •Knowledge of all aspects related to the piping discipline, design, stress, materials engineering and materials management. •Proficient with MS Office. | |
