| Business Development Manager We have an exciting full time permanent opportunity in the Prairies region for a Business Development Manager. This position is a great opportunity for someone wanting to develop a career in insurance and sales. In this role you will be responsible for managing and delivering results from the sales and business development initiatives through all the channels of distribution in the region. This role will focus primarily on fulfilling sales and business growth targets for the region while managing the relationships with agents, brokers, institutions, and all established channels of distribution in the region. The preferred candidate will have a post secondary education, with a background in business management and/or sales and marketing or equivalency gained through practical experience. A minimum of 5 years experience in sales or account/client management, and business development in an insurance industry is preferred. Other skills and qualifications are but not limited to: • Demonstrated contribution to the development of client retention and/or growth strategies within an insurance operation or insurance book of business • Outgoing, sales savvy personality with a strong ability to build relationships and provide excellent customer service • Demonstrated success with creative problem solving, consensus building, managing diverse interpersonal relationships | |
