| Systems Architect A rapidly growing Waterloo based company has an immediate opening for a systems architect and developer. The ideal candidate would have a strong RDBMS design background and experience with MySQL or PostreSQL in an enterprise environment, a desire to learn and integrate new technologies into the existing architecture as required. A solid understanding of systems administration in a mixed OS environment would also be an asset. Qualifications * B.Sc in computer engineering or equivalent * 5 to 10 years experience in software development of dynamic web applications and data reporting * 5+ years experience with enterprise systems level architecture design * implemented systems where scalability and performance were critical * solid understanding of security, internationalization, configuration and deployment considerations * experience with hardware virtualization or hypervisor technologies * work with other technical fields to provide a total solution * able to assist with remote customer issues on an as needed basis * able to travel internationally if required | |
