| Sales Associate Sales Associates are valuable players on our store teams. They work with our customers in a variety of ways and can make or break a customer's experience. Consequently, at Moores Clothing for Men we devote a large part of our training resources to teach valuable skills related to high quality customer service, product knowledge, and outfit coordination to our Sales Associates. Some of the ways that Sales Associates contribute to our store team effort are: Assisting Wardrobe Consultants in the important task of creating and presenting wardrobe "looks" for customers Ensuring that merchandise pick-ups and garment pressing requests are handled in a timely manner Supporting the tuxedo rental business Supporting Managers with operational functions Helping to maintain store appearance Logging in new alteration requests There is no better way to begin a career at Moores Clothing for Men than by being a Sales Associate. We enthusiastically look to promote outstanding Sales Associates, and many have gone on to become Wardrobe Consultants and Store Managers Summary Job Description Sales Associates at Moores Clothing for Men support Managers, Operations Managers, Wardrobe Consultants, and Tailors in the selling effort. Sales Associates assist in critical store operations in the following ways: Participating in creating and maintaining a high-quality work environment by: Maintaining an open dialogue with management Helping others to improve their performance and seeking their assistance for self improvement Trying to have fun and a positive attitude on the job Providing outstanding customer service by: Assisting Wardrobe Consultants and Managers to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers Helping Tailors by filling out tailoring orders and logging in new tailoring orders Learning basic product knowledge Understanding Moores Clothing for Men basic selling and presentation techniques Promoting volume and preventing shrink by: Becoming proficient in register function for cashiering and merchandise transfers Helping to assemble and present merchandise to customers Assisting customers, especially when Operations Managers, Wardrobe Consultants and Managers are busy Helping to maintain store appearance Helping to monitor store security | |
