Project Manager - Civil Engineering Date: 09-10-08 Title: Project Manager / Civil Engineering - Barrie DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your primary responsibilities include managing the design and construction of civil, municipal and environmental projects and the preparation of proposals for new work. • Preparation of proposals and fee estimates for design projects in the Civil, Municipal and Environmental Disciplines • Supervise design and CAD staff, including scheduling work by this group for other Managers and departments • Manage multi-discipline design projects • Review and approve billings for projects, manage budgets, etc. Qualifications: • P.Eng. registration (or eligible) with a minimum of seven years of Municipal Engineering design and project management experience of roadway, storm water and sewer design projects. Experience in land development projects is an asset. • Exceptional writing and presentation skills • Proven ability to manage projects and budgets • Excellent interpersonal skills Details: This is a F/ T opportunity located in Barrie.
