| Airport Security - Preboarding Screening Officers Do you enjoy interacting with the public? Possess a high school or equivalent (GED) diploma? Are you resident of Canada the last 5 years? If you answered “YES” to all, don’t wait, apply now! Garda is currently hiring Preboard Screening officers for our Calgary location, at the Calgary International Airport. You will screen the traveling public and their luggage before boarding airplanes to ensure no prohibited items enter the secure area that present a threat to aviation We offer full benefits, training, uniforms, parking paid by employer, retention bonus. Guaranteed 40 hours per week, wage start at $ 13.69/hr + $2.40/hr retention bonus (based on eligibility), and pay increase after training and certification. Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada security clearance Unionized work environment. Come and join a team of professionals! This is a great opportunity for advancement. Requirements: ONLY applicants from Canada will be accepted. MUST BE LIVING IN CANADA for the last 5 years >>> Must be able to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance High school diploma or equivalent (GED) Must be 18 yrs + Candidates must be available to work shift, including weekends Candidates must have strong clear command for the English language (both written and spoken) Possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to handle stress well Maintain focus and awareness within an environment containing numerous distractions, people, and noise.
