| Project Engineer Responsibilities: • Review and approve the final pipeline design reports. • Oversee the development of construction contracts and the tender/analysis/award process. • Direct and coordinate the project pipeline engineering team for the execution of the design of projects • Provide direction to the project mechanical/pipeline project team. • Coordinate activities of the pipeline/project team with other project disciplines. • Oversee and mentor junior pipeline engineering and other technical staff. • Ensure compliance with project plan and procedures. • Oversee the implementation of corporate quality and safety standards into the projects. • Oversee and coordinate the preparation of engineering work scope and cost estimations when required. Requirements: • Resident of Canada or Work Visa • P.Eng • Extensive experience with pipeline system design, construction and federal/provincial regulatory jurisdictions. • Lead engineering design executions role in projects over $10M • 15-20 years of pipeline and associated facilities design experience. • 5-10 years of consulting engineering experience. • Downstream oil and gas industry (Western Canada). • Supervision of 5-10 other engineering staff and or project teams. | |
