Sales Representative - Energy Efficiency Industry

Position Summary:

Marnoch Energy is seeking part-time and full-time commission based, experienced sales/marketing people to help drive growth and profitability in Ontario. You will preferably have selling experience, a customer base or relationship partners in the Industrial, Commercial or Institutional sectors and preferably some experience in lighting, electrical, Solar PV, Solar Thermal or HVAC.

If you are an enthusiastic, energetic industry professional or retired sales professional looking to work on a commission basis for two or three days a week from your home base, you may be exactly what Marnoch Energy is looking for.

The focus of this position will be centered on the development of new business clients through a combination of networking, cold-calling, referrals and company-assigned leads. If you are a spirited self-starter with time on your hands this could be a great opportunity for you.


Responsibilities:
Schedule meetings with potential customers to conduct assessments and gather preliminary information on equipment and facilities.
Schedule energy audit appointments.
Establish and maintain key customer relationships and develop strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.

Manage the entire sales process from prospect to close.

Provide outstanding customer service, including resolving customer inquiries and challenges throughout the sales cycle and effective communication of the needs or issues to members of the management team.

Liaise with Strategic Partners on joint sales calls and end user relationships

Provide customers with updates about new services, pricing and product release launches.

Responsible for updating project tracker, gathering photos, testimonials and customer information for marketing.

Identify customer service areas of improvement and work with other key managers to strengthen customer service levels throughout the organization.

Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases.

Qualifications:
Self-motivated with effective closing skills

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team oriented working relationship.

Knowledge of the lighting, sensors, controls, HVAC, motors, air compressors, solar PV or solar thermal industry would be an asset.

Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism are a must.

PC skills – Word, Excel, Outlook

Driver’s license and own vehicle
