| Senior Account - Structured Route to Controllership Job Description: Generating global revenues at the multi-billion level, our client is a leader in the metals industry. It seeks a Senior Accountant at its Surrey plant to come on board as part of a 1 to 2 year structured route to Controllership. Principal responsibilities will be to: - Perform full cycle accounting and cost accounting, with a particular focus on standard costing. - Conduct budgeting, forecasting and business performance review. - Providing leadership and guidance to junior team members. - Build strong relationships both within finance and across the plant. This is a rare opportunity to make a very smooth transition to Controllership in a blue-chip environment. Requirements: - Designated accountant with a strong background in manufacturing. - Outgoing and social with the confidence to stand ground and influence when necessary.
