| Environmental Manager Our client, an internationally-recognized engineering and environmental services firm working in the power, mining, environment, water, transportation, oil sands, oil and gas and municipal sectors is looking for an Environmental Manager. The successful candidate is a self-starter who can lead teams and work both independently and as part of a team, has multi-disciplinary experience and outlook, and has previous consulting / practical project experience. As a key part of the management training, he will be required to work in our Sudbury office during the first year to help grow the environmental team. Key responsibilities: Delivering high quality socio-environmental services Keen to see projects beyond the study stage into implementation and on to closure Work closely with our award winning science and engineering teams to deliver comprehensive and buildable projects to our clients Permitting, leading baseline and socio-environmental assessment project teams Managing projects Sustaining excellent client relationships and developing new business opportunities. Qualifications: Graduate degree in an environmental engineering or environmental science field Environmental Impact Assessment experience Project management experience 10 years of relevant environmental experience Environmental experience and knowledge of the mining sector Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; other languages (e.g., Spanish) an asset Demonstrated track record as an effective team player is required If this sounds like you, please apply via email by sending an adequate resume in a PDF or MS Word document and mention the exact job title in the subject line. | |
