| Environmental Specialist Signum Consulting Ltd. was established in 2003 as a reclamation company geared towards professional and efficient reclamation of oil and gas sites in Alberta. Since then, Signum has expanded to provide a wide range of remediation and reclamation services associated with the oil and gas industry and are currently hiring for the following position(s): Environmental Specialist EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time employment EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Engineering Degree or Technology Diploma, Environmental or Land Reclamation and Remediation Science Degree, Other equivalent education • 5-10 years in environmental management; Phase II and III ESA, soil and vegetation assessments, site inspections, supervising reclamation and remediation projects QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong environmental experience in fieldwork, reporting, and project management • Ability to generate technical reports regarding site assessments • Minimum 5-10 years related experience • Have experience in and willing to travel to undertake fieldwork year-round • Experience with prescribed safety and technical protocols • Self-motivated, independent and reliable worker • Must have excellent communication and technical writing skills • Must possess the ability to act in a professional manner with co-worker and clients • Strong organizational and record keeping skills • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required • Valid safety tickets not required, but is an asset • Project management skills an asset • Membership with AIA, APEGGA, PBiol or other is an asset Signum Consulting offers industry competitive compensation that will be based on applicable work experiences. | |
