| Software Programmer Analyst (Java-Liferay) Duties and Responsibilities: • Portal development using Java, Spring, Apache Wicket, Hibernate and Liferay Portal. • Portlets development within the Liferay Portal environment. Qualifications and Skills: • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. • 5+ years of experience with Java technologies and frameworks. • Experience in Portal development using Liferay Portal Server, Liferay Ext SDK and Liferay Plugin SDK. • Experience in O/R Mapping using JPA and Hibernate. • Experience in Database development and testing using Oracle and hsqlDB. • Experience in Logging using SLF4J and Logback. • Experience in Remote Procedure Calls using Spring Remoting. • Experience in Security development using Spring Security, Apache Wicket and Auth-Roles. • Experience in Apache Tomcat application server. • Experience in Object Management using Spring Core. • Experience in GUI Framework development using Apache Wicket, Apache Wicket Extensions and Apache Wicket Spring. • Experience in GUI Designs/Controls using JavaScript, JQuery, CSS and HTML. • Experience in Web Services development using Spring WS, WSS Standard, XWSS, JAX-WS and JAXB. • Experience with JDK/VM such as Java JDK/JRE. • Experience in Builds using Apache Maven. • Experience with Eclipse integrated development environment (IDE). • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and a passion for delivering high quality software required. • A self-starter who can co-ordinate with a team.
