| SALES EXECUTIVE A strong European company that has been established for 57 years is offering an exciting opportunity within its Sales team. The company is an international leader in the tile industry. This Sales Executive position is based in Montreal area supporting Canadian operations in the Eastern region, and requires a highly energetic and dependable person with excellent sales and customer service skills. The Sales Executive is a key member of the sales team reporting to the North American Sales Manager and performing the following duties: • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails; • Visiting potential customers to prospect for new business; • Performing physical demonstrations using company tools and products to illustrate use and benefits of our products to potential customers and create demand; • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets; • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales; • Gathering market and customer information; • Representing the organization at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations; • Negotiating variations in price, delivery and specifications with managers; • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions; • Liaising with logistic department to check on the progress of existing orders; • Checking quantities of goods on display and in stock; • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the sales office; • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets; • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements; • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations; • Feeding future buying trends back to employers The right candidate will need to be a team player, with the following skills: Requirements: • Outgoing personality with excellent communication and presentation skills. • Results oriented and self-motivated person requiring minimum supervision. • Minimum of 3 years experience, as a salesperson, in flooring channel distribution. • Educational Background: B.A.A (Business Administration) • English / French fluency • Residence located within the city of Montreal or suburbs. • Ability to travel across Canada up to 50% of the time. • Access to own car and full driving licence is essential. • Impeccable references. | |
